hi i’ve kinda been off discourse but i just wanted to say this bc i’ve seen a lot of arguments about it
there’s a difference between having transgender pride and wanting to be trans
i (mostly) love the transgender community. i love the youth support groups i go to and the friends i’ve made bc of how i was born. i’m proud of the hardships i’ve faced because of dysphoria. i take pride in being transgender because that’s who i am.
BUT!!! i do not want to be trans. i would give up all the support groups and community to be cis. cis female or cis male i do not care. i would love to be comfortable in my own body. no transgender person wants to be trans. nobody wants to go through dysphoria
so enough with that “truscum just want trans ppl to hate themselves” bc its actual bull. i am proud of who i am, but that does not mean i chose it.
